Lucidity
What to notice

Three things worth watching

  1. The source under every answer

Front Office SOP, Allergen Management SOP, Brand Standard. A manager can always check what staff were told and where it came from.

  2. The department tabs

The same assistant, different questions. Reception, housekeeping and the night team each see what their job needs.

  3. What happens with no answer

Type something the property has not covered, such as “Do we allow cats?” It does not guess. It names the manager it has sent the question to. Tap to confirm the answer as that manager, ask again, and Lucy answers.

Worth knowing

This is a worked example

The Hartwell Hotel is fictional and the answers are drawn from a sample library, so you can see the behaviour without us borrowing a real property’s documents.

On a live property the library is yours. The answers come from your brand standards, your procedures and your training, and nothing else.

Want to try this with your own hotel procedures?

On a phone, a tablet or the desk

It installs on a phone like an app, and runs the same on a tablet in the corridor or a terminal at reception. Nothing to roll out.

Type it or say it

Staff ask in plain language, by text or voice. A housekeeper with her hands full asks out loud and hears the answer back.
