  1. Content comes from where you already keep it

In most cases your documents can remain where they already live. We connect the relevant sources, identify what is current, and configure the library with your team. Video and training recordings are included alongside written procedures.

When an approved source is updated, Lucidity detects and processes the change so staff receive the current version without anyone retyping it.

  2. Sources are ranked before anything is answered

Brand standard outranks management company policy, which outranks local procedure. Where four documents disagree, the one with authority surfaces rather than whichever happens to read best.

An example. A 2019 local checklist says late checkout is free until 2pm, the 2024 brand standard says it is chargeable after noon, and an email from a duty manager says ask reception. Ask Lucy answers from the brand standard, names it, and the older local document does not compete with it.

  3. The question is answered from approved content only

Lucidity does not use general AI knowledge to answer questions about your hotel’s policies, procedures or guests. It answers from your library and nothing else. Where a question is complex or ambiguous, it keeps looking rather than settling for the first thing it finds.

  4. Every answer carries its source

The citation is validated in code, not left to the model. An answer without a source is rejected before anyone sees it, so a manager can always check what staff were told and why.

  5. What it cannot answer becomes something it can

Where nothing approved covers the question, Lucidity does not guess. It routes the question to the manager who owns that area. Their answer is confirmed and kept, so the library improves through use rather than through maintenance.

Role by role

People see what their job needs

Access is set by role and department. Reception gets the arrival, housekeeping gets the preference, the duty manager gets the authority limit. Guest information is available only to the roles that should have it, and every access is logged.

Feeds and connections

Updates arrive without anyone retyping them

Lucidity Guest reads your property system on a read-only basis, so staff can answer a question about the guest at the desk. Where a provider publishes a change, an employment law update or a food safety bulletin, it lands in the library the same way your own documents do.*

* Property system access is included. Other connections depend on the provider offering an interface, and we will tell you plainly what is available for the systems you run.

In any language

The language barrier stops being a training problem

Staff ask questions and receive answers in their preferred language, while the approved source itself remains unchanged. One library serves every property, in every country.
